User Flow
User persona
Ellie 27yrs
One persona was recognized to test the designed sprint’s solution: Ellie 27yrs, she just moved to a new apartment by herself and is ready to adopt a dog. She follows adoption agencies, and asks neighbors that have dogs for advices. Her frustrations with adoptions sites are that they can be misleading, in which, she may fall in love with a dog that is not compatible with her lifestyle.

Usability Testing
Participants in usability testing for Citypups
Drea, Mara, Tony, Nohemy, Sasha
Participants had a similar reaction to the minimalist, clean layout of the flow. They all liked that it was straight forward and the pictures of the animals were clear, and the option for videos piqued the interest of some participants as well.
Mara and Nohemy both felt that the dog picked out in the usability testing should have more information such as the dog’s background and history with the previous owner.
Tony noticed some alignment problems and missing UI elements that were overlooked, but they really liked that certain key information was readily available such as adoption fee and adoption process.
Sasha and Drea were curious if this third party platform would have accessibility to apply for foster but overall they both said that the navigation was simple yet clear to use as a first time user of the platform.
Overall the participants felt that the flow of the navigation was good and fulfilled their expectations in terms of potentially adopting a dog through the website.
Key Takeaway
This prototype is not just a solution; it's a user-centered approach that aims to revolutionize the pet adoption experience, making it more enjoyable, informative, and emotionally fulfilling for users. The key takeaway is the dedication to creating a platform that not only meets but exceeds user expectations, providing a positive and memorable experience throughout the pet adoption journey.
